10 Symbols that Convey Informations

This page tells about 10 symbols that convey or gives informations based or we see on our community. Symbols allow people to go beyond what is known or seen by creating linkages between otherwise very different concepts and experiences. Symbols take the form of words, sounds, gestures, ideas or visual images and are used to convey other ideas and beliefs.
1. FIRE EXIT

Fire Exit Signs are a critical part of an Emergency Exit strategy and proper signage is mandated for all fire exits and fire doors. An effective Fire Exit Safety Plan is much more than posting a few fire exit signs. Fire Regulations dictate that fire exits are clearly marked and may be seen even in the event of power loss.
2. NO SMOKING

No smoking safety signs will alert everyone entering hazardous areas of your facility that no smoking is allowed in order to prevent dangerous situations from occurring. Alerting employees and visitors in your facility to potentially flammable conditions is an important factor in reducing fires and injuries. Whether you have dangerous gases in the area, flammable liquids, or simply need to remind people that no smoking is permitted in your facility, proper no smoking safety signs can be your first line of defense against serious accidents and injuries.
3. NO ENTRY

No entry signs help enforce your security policy, one that is important for any facility or business that wants to control access of certain areas to authorized employees and visitors. Workplace hazard areas or those with valuable property require that you ensure that no entry signs are posted and only certain people have access and security clearance to them.
4. RIGHT/LEFT ARROW

A Right/Left Arrow Sign has safety messages for emergency response protocol and compliance. A Left / Right Arrow Sign is a useful tool to help protect the health and safety of staff, and is not a substitute for necessary protective measures for lessening or eliminating hazards.
5. STOP ENGINE WHILE FILLING

Stop Engine while filling gasoline, the car can ignite your gas fumes as you're pumping your gas. You're better off running the engine and making sure to touch something metal before your vehicle refuels to discharge any static. There are also small amounts of fuel vapor displaced from your tank by the liquid fuel. If your vehicle engine is left running, it presents potential sources of fuel igniters such as the sparks from the vehicle exhaust pipe and to a less extent the engine alternator and the often “red hot” catalytic converter fitted at the center of the exhaust pipe.
6. ONE WAY ROAD SIGN

One way road is that moves in a single direction. A one-way street is a street either facilitating only one-way traffic or designed to direct vehicles to move in one direction. One-way streets typically result in higher traffic flow as drivers may avoid encountering oncoming traffic or turns through oncoming traffic.
7. CHILDREN CROSSING

8. TURN OFF MOBILE PHONES

At this point, we all know that these devices are low-power radio-frequency transmitters, with a peak power value that ranges between 0.1 and 2 watts.
